Browser problems
« on: March 14, 2014, 04:25:04 pm »
My browser has started crashing the last few days. I see the notice up top that says
my firefox isn't responding. Yesterday it crashed to DT for the first time.

Now my question is... should I delete my firefox and reinstall it? Or switch browsers.
I've never had a problem like this before with my browser.

I did update it just before this started happening.

 Should I have uninstall\reinstalled instead?

 Help appreciated,

~S~

You're having this problem FJ? Hmmm I need to do some research then. It started for you when you got the last update to version 27.0.1?
I had to look in my add\remove programs list to see what mine was.
I'll keep you updated .

Server not found

Firefox can't find the server at www.facebook.com.

Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Click your firefox tab in the upper left corner and see if a reset option appears in the dropdown.
