UP3

Guys, looks like i'll have to stay with 4.10.1m.  I deleted everything including IL2 and started again from scratch.  Patched up to 4.10.1m downloaded UP3, then installed the patches up to RC4. I followed the instructions to the letter, but I still can't join an RC4 server.  Same state as before, just waits at the connect to server screen. Unless anyone has any last minute suggetsions, then please let me know, otherwise I'm done wasting anymore time on this and I'll stay with the stock game.

I had similar. When you installed UP3 RC1, did you click on Activate UP3.0 in JSGME? Also, have you changed the gamepath on Hyperlobby?

Not sure why I would have to alter my gamepath in HL?  Its:

C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

which is where I downloaded UP3 and the patches to.

Am i missing something simple here?

I didn't know if like me you installed a seperate game folder for it. So, not sure why you can't get it running. It didn't work for me to start with, but one day it suddenly started to and its been sweet ever since.
